Open Innovation supported by Deutsche Telekom

Recently at NEXT Berlin conference, I had the pleasure to discuss with Thomas Kiessling, Chief Product and Innovation Officer at Deutsche Telekom about future technologies, markets and business opportunities led by big data and machine to machine.

We are entering the era of the Internet of Things. Be prepared for connected cars, smart homes etc. And all these Things will be sending data, communicating between themselves. Storing data in the cloud and making good sense out of it become of tremendous importance.

Listen below to the interview with Thomas Kiessling to find out what will be possible tomorrow and how can partnering with Deutsche Telekom help companies that generate or want to make use of big data.

In a nutshell, Deustsche Telekom is building the infrastructure for these emerging big data businesses (think of it, for example, as an “App Store” for the standard Smart Home of the future) and is looking for innovators to partner with. Startups tackling big data and machine to machine are invited to approach Deutsche Telekom in order to discuss potential opportunities and see how they can benefit from the developed infrastructure, facilitated access to market and business acceleration. A real Open Innovation, right?
